Whatever the size of your garden, you can always find a little space to start growing your own fresh and tasty produce. My own garden at home is ironically very small so I stick to growing herbs, salad and tomatoes in pots.
This is very easy to achieve and allows you to pop out and collect just what you need rather than a trip to the supermarket.
If you are lucky enough to have a bit more space, you could consider giving over part of your garden to growing your own vegetables. In my allotment, I grow vegetables in raised beds which not only contain and define the different varieties but make them easier to maintain.
Raised beds can be constructed to suit the size and shape of your garden and can also provide additional seating if built to the appropriate height.
